2003 Hyundai Tiburon Test Drive
All-new for 2003, the Tibuon added new punch and pizazz but retained an attractive price point. Maintaining its high visual profile, this sporty 2+2 liftback coupe now offered a 3.0L/181-horsepower DOHC V-6 and a six-speed manual or four-speed Shiftronic automatic in the potent GT as well as a full sport suspension option with 17-inch alloys mounting 215/45 H-rated tires, plus leather, and an Infinity stereo. Even the base car, which continued to match a 2.0L/140- horsepower I-4 with 5M/4A transmission choices, packed spirited performance as well as standards like four wheel disc brakes, A/C, and power windows/locks/mirrors.
