2004 Infiniti G35X Sedan Test Drive
Infiniti’s surge in popularity very could be partially attributed to the success of this rear drive sport sedan. Powered by the same sweet V6 engine as in the Nissan 350Z, the G35 road on a longer version of Nissan’s rear drive FM platform. Both the sedan and a coupe offered good performance and handling in attractive sheet metal. The only change for 2004 was the availability of optional all-wheel drive in the sedan for improved traction under adverse weather conditions. All models were well-appointed and offered the choice of 6 speed manual gearbox, in addition to a 5-speed sequential shift automatic.
