2004 Pontiac Bonneville GXP Test Drive

This mid-year entry replaced the previous SSEi’s 3.8L 240 horsepower Supercharged V6 with a normally-aspirated 4.6L 275 horsepower dual overhead cam Northstar V8. Other changes included restyled fascias, performance tuned suspension, 18in alloy wheels, and a plush interior with suede seats and carbon fiber trim. Bonneville SE and SLE models carried over unchanged with a 3.8 liter 205 horsepower V6 and 4-speed auto box. The value priced SE was equipped with a CD player, tire inflation Monitor, and keyless entry.
