21998 Honda Accord Coupe Test Drive
Meet the sixth generation Honda Accord, the most changed single model in its 22-year history up till then. Inside the Accord’s new sheet metal was an enlarged interior that ranked the sedan version a true mid size and the distinctively styled coupe also quire roomy. There were improvements to the structure, safety, suspension, ideally the entire car. Three different engines supplied the power. The DX model received a 2.3 135hp inline four, while standard LX and EX models got a redesigned 2.3 150hp four that was smoother, quieter and stronger. The top option for the LX and EX was an all new exceptionally smooth 3.0 200hp V6.
