1984 Peugeot 505 Turbo Test Drive
Peugeot’s 505 sedan was rapidly gaining the reputation it deserved as one of the world’s really good sedans. There was nothing flashy about a Peugeot, nothing that made it stand out in a parked crowd of its peers, but put it on the road and the combination of handling, comfort, and overall competence moved it to the front of the pack. Gas and turbodiesel engines were available, but the favorite was the 5-speed gas engine with STI package.
