1990 Magna Torrero Concept Car

Automotive parts supplier Magna International Inc. is trying to convince one of the Big Three automakers to join it in making their “lifestyle” vehicle a reality. Magna’s prototype combines the attributes of a sports car, a sedan and a SUV. The four-seater would be priced in the $15,000 range for the North American market. Magna wants to bring a vehicle to market that removes most of the electronics that bump up the prices of many cars in North America. In 1989 Magna built their first concept SUV, the Torrero (pictured). No automaker has expressed interest in the vehicle at this time.
