For 1983 the Citation line included 5 models: 2-door coupe, 2-door hatchback, 4- door hatchback, X-11 coupe and X-11 2-door hatchback. 2.5 liter inline four was standard, with a 112-hp V-6 optional on all but X-11 models. Standard on the X-11 and optional on all Citations was the 135-hp High Output V-6. A 4-speed overdrive manual was standard with all engines, or an 3-speed THM 125C optional automatic.
