1983 Ford Thunderbird Commercial
The Thunderbird became a lot more exciting with its landmark “aero” redesign for 1983, dramatically signaling Ford Motor Company’s turn to clean, low drag styling. The 142hp Turbo Coupe was the hottest of the three models offered. Buyers approved-sales nearly tripled, hitting close to 122,000 sold. The standard model offered V-6 or V-8 power for $9,000-$10,000.
