Corvette received a new Bosh Anti-lock Braking system, standard 5.7-liter engine with a new aluminum cylinder head with sintered valve seats, copper core plugs, and increased compression ration, brushed aluminum wheels, screaming yellow paint option and redesigned instrument pod and steering wheels. Convertibles were available mid year.
