1989 Chevrolet Caprice Manufacturer Promo
You’ve probably noticed that most car companies don’t fix autos that aren’t broken. The Caprice was one of those cars. It was very popular with older buyers who did not demand change (see picture to the left). The big-seller sedan (80 percent of sales) and the Caprice Classic station wagon gilded headlong into 1990 with a standard 5.0-liter V-8 with revised EFI (4-bbl carb on wagon) and 4-speed automatic transmission.
