Chrysler Cordoba coupes could again have an optional Crown roof, or the choice of a new T-bar roof or a sunroof. Stacked rectangular headlights flanked a new fine mesh grille. Cornering lights joined the option list. Still a sizeable automobile in an era of serious downsizing, Cordoba earned praise from fashion photographer Anthony Edgeworth. A 400-cid V8 powered the standard Cordoba while a 360-cid engine went into the ‘S’ edition, which cost $200 less. Economy minded buyers might select a lean burn 318-cid V8 instead with 4 barrel carburetion.
